This East Midlands Electricity Board (EMEB) document, published in February 1963 is titled, 'specification for 33,000 volts single circuit overhead lines on wood poles' and has been given the reference EMEB/33S. The document has been produced by R A York, BSc, MIEE, Chief Engineer, Mapperley Hall, Nottingham and comprises a 4 page introduction followed by an large number of technical drawings. The document has also been given a Ministry of Power reference which is EL82/21/6 EMEB/33H/1963. This document is the same as NAEST 234/1 but has two additional inserts. The first insert is a Chief Engineers Department technical drawing with reference D N EMEB/E193 (sealing end mounting for 33kV unearther construction terminal pole). The second insert is a publication titled, 'British electricity conditions 1959: cable contracts (with installation): (the model form of general conditions of contract recommended by the Institution of Electrical Engineers being incorporated)'. This document was issued by the Electricity Boards in England and Wales following collaboration with the CMA.
