Scope and Content
Folder contains technical correspondence/memoranda of Johnson & Phillips Ltd and also engineering journal articles on the subject of electro-technology.
Original articles have been taken from the following journals; 'distribution of electricity'; 'electrical times'; 'the electrical journal'; 'electrical world'; 'engineering'; 'electrical power engineer'; 'the engineer'; 'AIEE proceedings'; 'the New Zealand electrical journal'; and 'electrical review'. Subjects covered include; transmission line calculations; transmission line losses; capacitance motors; distribution of alternating current; system stability; fault-level calculations; power transmission calculations; Thevenin's Theorem; electro-precipitation; power factor; power supply networks; electric fields; network theorems; power-flow control; unbalanced loads; complex waves; large three-phase generators; condensers; and power system calculations.
