58. All IET records are closed for 30 years from date of creation. Access to information in the records, as opposed to the original records, is at the discretion of the Archivist in discussion with the originating department. Access to Committee records (revised 2006)
59. In July 2006, Council Members were granted access to the agendas and minutes of all boards and committees, except for those marked ‘Private and Confidential’. Minutes of Council and the Board of Trustees have also been published on the IET website from 2006 and are therefore accessible to all IET members and the public.
60. Access to records created before July 2006 and records created after 2006 but marked ‘Private and Confidential’ is restricted in accordance with the conditions described above.
