John doing some climbing and feeling a new man. Bertie will miss the Golden Wedding at the end of September. Pity that both eldest grandsons will not be there. Jack is trying to make up for Bertie's absence, enjoys singing and has a good voice. Thunderstorm has interrupted the fine weather.
