This series contains all talking portrait films including Honorary Fellows and Faraday Medallists. Previously these films were catalogued as separate series but the distinction was unclear in some cases so they are now all Talking Portraits. Where these can be easily identified by the description on the film or its container it has been noted in the item scope and content field. Former reference numbers have also been noted where applicable. Most of the original or "copy 1" 16mm films are held at the London Metropolitan Archives with the reference number beginning with LSA/XXX. The IET Archives have retained copies or formats other than 16mm film.
