Committee minutes 1976-1983 and YMS minutes 1976-1983. Prior to 1981, this Centre was the Eastern Area of the Southern Centre. Pre-1976 minutes can therefore be found in IET/CEN/26. In September 2000, as a result of a strategic review of the Institution's activities and regional operations, Sussex Centre plus certain postcodes became known as the Sussex Branch. In October 2006 following the combination of the IIE and IEE to form the IET, the convergence of the IEE Branches and IIE Regions was achieved in the UK through the creation of Local and Regional Networks. At that time the IEE Sussex Branch became the Sussex Local Network which was part of the South Eastern Regional Network.
