The North Scotland Sub-Centre was created in 1952 as part of the Scottish Centre federated system. For pre-1952 material please see the Aberdeen Sub-Centre (IET/CEN/20) and the North East Scotland Sub-Centre (IET/CEN/22).
In 1990 the name of the Sub-Centre was changed from North Scotland to Scotland North Sub-Centre.
