Scope and Content
This series contains records of the South Midland Centre which was created in 1918 as well as records for its predecessor organisation, the Birmingham Local Section, which was formed in 1900. The South Midland Centre gave rise to several sub-centres including: East Midland Sub-Centre, 1919; Rugby Sub-Centre, 1945; Worcester Sub-Centre, 1965; and North Staffordshire Sub-Centre, 1948.
Records in this series include: minutes of Committees; Sub-Committees; Sections; AGMs; and Ordinary and General meetings. Also included are 50 and 75 year histories of the Centre, three summer meeting booklets and meeting attendance books.
