Photographs of Godfrey George Bayley working in Malaya for British Insulating Cables c1929-1930. Also in Kuala Lumpar, Penang, Perak and Ipoh. Sent to his mother Isabella Atkinson in the UK. Scenes show Godfrey at work, at leisure, local populace, local scenery, erecting of poles, steam power stations, substations, construction of the Chenderoh Dam in Perak. [some digital images available] 2. 1 red photograph album containing approximately 42 photographs taken by or of G G Bayley in Malaya, Kuala Lumpur, Penang and Perak 1929-1930. A note on the albums states that the photographs were sent to his mother, Isabella Atkinson Bayley, in the UK. There are photographs of G G Bayley's bedroom with photographs on the walls, on the left side is his father, on the right are photographs of his brother Keith, his mother Isabella nd his sister Molly. Most of the photographs are annotated on the back. Many of the photographs are of the work carried out by Godfrey, local scenes, buildings, landscapes, colleagues, local populace.
