10 work diaries written by Ernest Frederick George Watson whilst working as a high frequency cable joiner for the South Eastern Electricity Board (SEEBOARD) in the London/Surrey area. The diaries cover the period 1960 to 1970 and for each working day Ernest lists the job on which he was working, the location, and the hours allocated to that job, including emergency jobs where he was called out during times of bad weather or when electricity supplies were cut-off.

Ernest Frederick George Watson (1914-2017) worked for most of his adult life for the South Eastern Electricity Board (SEEBOARD) as a high frequency cable joiner. He joined SEEBOARD in 1954 and received a '34 years' service' certificate from SEEBOARD in 1988.
