Scope and Content
The Science Museum gallery marked the centenary of STC. File comprises black and white and colour images of the opening of the gallery, including images of speeches being delivered by HRH and Sir Kenneth Corfield, and HRH touring the gallery. Includes draft and final press release by the Science Museum and final draft of programme for opening.
Also includes one image of HRH the Prince Michael of Kent and Sir Kenneth Corfield, on the announcement that Prince Michael was to join the board of STC, 11 February 1981.
