Whilst there is no name in the ledger it is likely to have belonged to Charles Henry Gimingham and shows details of his work prior to working for Edison and Swan United Electric Light Company. At the back of the ledger (page 138), there is a table titled 'earnings' which covers the period 1878 to April 1880. Much of the work relates to drawings, designs and reports.
