- Scope and Content1-page typescript memorandum from Samuel Flood Page (Secretary of Edison and Swan United) to Edward Gimingham about Edison & Swan United's display at the Crystal Palace Electrical Exhibition of 1892. The letter says; "We must avail ourselves to the full of the Crystal Palace Exhibit; it is therefore necessary that we should at once combine the supplemental catalogue with the existing catalogue and that we should have an enormous stock ready for distribution to all the people who come to the Crystal Palace. Day by day our people at our stall will have to distribute catalogues. Doubtless visitors will be attracted from all parts of England and probably from abroad also and we must have a lavish supply of catalogues to distribute. Only in this way can be really obtain the full advantage of the exhibition. Please make the front of the new catalogue an exact representation of our exhibit at the Crystal Palace; this will be very attractive I have roughly drafted a few alterations in the wording of some clauses of the price list & should be glad to have a proof pulled of any clauses which I have altered as soon as possible. S Flood Page."
