- Scope and ContentLondon Electrical Engineers, Inter-Detachment Competition Cup. This silverplated cup is engraved "Inter-Detachment Competition Cup" and also "306th AA/Coy RE (TA)" which stands for 306th Anti-Aircraft Company, Royal Engineers, Territorial Army. It comes with an unmarked base which has a silverplated band. The base and cup may or may not originally have been together. [Note: the 306th AA Company was based at Westminster and was part of the 27th (London) Anti-Aircraft Battalion (London Electrical Engineers) RE (TA), which was a WWII searchlight unit. The 27th (London) Anti-Aircraft Battalion (London Electrical Engineers) comprised; a headquarters at Streatham; 304th AA Company at Westminster; 305th AA Company at Westminster; 306th AA Company at Westminster; and the 390th AA Company at Westminster].
