Leather-bound volume titled, 'Roll of Honour: in memory of the employees of The General Electric Company Ltd (GEC) and its allied companies: who gave their lives in the Great War 1914-1919' The book includes a page for each GEC employee that died in World War I, sorted alphabetically by surname. Each page contains a brief biography for the individual plus a photograph in almost all instances. There is an inscription which says, 'F Dyson, Transformer Department'.
