This interview with Kurt Hoselitz was conducted by Maria Watkins, the wife of former Mullard Research Laboratories employee, Tom Watkins. The interview took place 14 June 1999. Kurt Hoselitz (1916-2010) joined Mullard 1 May 1952 and retired in 1976. He was the Director of Research at Mullard Research Laboratories from 1969 to 1976 (succeeded by Norman Goddard). Afterwards Kurt was a Professorial Research Fellow at the University of Surrey for 10 years. In this 29 minute interview Kurt describes in detail, the people with whom he worked, and the work of the Mullard Research Laboratories. He also describes his interview process (employed as a materials specialist), his specialism in semiconductors, and the history of Mullard's work on semiconductors and transistors.
