'Natural philosophy of cause & chance', by Max Born, 1948. This book has a gold coloured embossed 'IEE Premium'design on the cover. On the inside cover an IEE label has been attached noting the award of the Kelvin Premium to A L Cullen PhD, BSc(Eng), AMIEE for the 1951-52 session. Alexander L Cullen won the Kelvin Premium for 1951-52 for his two articles published in the journal of the IEE which were; 'Absolute power measurement at microwave frequencies' 'A general method for the absolute measurement of microwave power' The award (value £25) was approved at the IEE Council meeting 19 June 1952.
