Scope and Content
Collection of Plessey papers and publications, primarily data sheets, technical application communicatons and other technical publications. The collection was formed by Professor Peter Grant whilst he worked for Plessey in the late 1960s. The material was collected whilst Peter worked at West Leigh, South Leigh, Roke and Caswell from 1966-70.
Peter worked for Plessey designing some of the first integrated circuits when it involved large dimension sizes resistor transistor logic (RTL) all designed by hand (before computers).
