Illustration (photographic appearance) of Major-General Charles Edmund Webber who had been the President of the Society of Telegraph Engineers and Electricians in 1882 and who had been one of the joint founders of the Society of Telegraph Engineers in 1871. This illustration is dated March 1895. The signature of C E Webber beneath the illustration may either be an original signature or a facsimile copy.
