BNFL (British Nuclear Fuels plc) material. Company, formerly 100% owned by UK government, that dealt with nuclear energy and nuclear fuels that was set up in 1971 from the demerger of the production division of UKAEA. In 2005 BNFL sold/transferred all of its business e.g. to Nuclear Decommissioning Authority.
