Hardback volume about the General Electric Company Ltd published by Ernest Benn Limited. Inscription at the front says Cecil J A Hughes 1891-1984. Includes photographs of Sir Hugo Hirst, Chairman and Managing Director of GEC Ltd, G Byng (first Chairman of the GEC), and M J Railing (Joint Managing Director of the GEC 1929). There is also an illustration of Peel Works, Manchester (an early GEC factory). Appendix B includes some early GEC products of historical interest.
