The full title of this journal is 'the channel: a clyde shipbuilding, engineering and electrical gazette' and was the official journal for; the Greenock Association of Engineers and Shipbuilders; The Greenock Association of Electrical Engineers; The Scientific Society of the Royal Technical College; and The Paisley Association of Electrical Engineers.
Joseph Savage had an article in the journal titled, 'thermometry - pyrometry', which was an abstract of a paper read before the Paisley Association of Electrical Engineers, 23 February 1921.
