- Scope and Content'An oral history of the Women's Engineering Society' was a report prepared by Christopher D Chamberlin, Ronald L Skoletsky and Lynn A Stanton and submitted 13 May 1988. It was submitted to both The Women's Engineering Society and Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) of Massachusetts, USA, a science and engineering university, in partial fulfillment of the WPI's degree requirments. The report, prepared for the IEE archives department, was an oral history of the WES, containing conclusions about women and their role in the engineering field and in the WES. The methodology was through interviews of members and non-members of the WES to gain information about their engineering careers. The report is accompanied by a 1992 article from the Engineering and Science Journal titled, 'the WPI interactive qualifying project - a model for British engineering education?'.
