This series covers predominantly correspondence about prizes, awards, scholarships and grants awarded by the IET. In addition there is also some correspondence about awards where the IET is making recommendations or nominations for an external award rather than granting an award itself. Many of the scholarships and prizes were paid for out of income arising from scholarship and trust funds left by benefactors. Many of the fund titles align with prize and scholarship titles. Separate files on these funds can be found at IET/DEP/4/11. The majority of this series is closed as files contain personal information. However, some files containing only publicity material such as Achievement Awards ceremony booklets, IET/PRI/87, are open.
