Material relating to S. P. Thompson's library and handlist, including: file of corresponce between W. K. Brasher, Secretary of the IEE, and W. Heffer & Sons Ltd, publishers and booksellers, regarding a letter written by Thompson to his friend George Charles Williamson that was found within a printed handlist of Thompson's library; a paperback copy of the Handlist that originally contained the letter from Thompson; and the letter itself, with later additional notes. These items were originally found enclosed within the Evershed and Vignoles collection (within file NAEST 102/06/02/01) during the cataloguing process and were removed and catalogued separately.
