The envelope is labelled ‘Miss P Hodges, A BBC recording by Dame Caroline Haslett in Woman’s Hour – an appreciation of Amy Johnson. Recorded on both sides of the tape. 10 minute recording. With Mrs Messenger’s compliments. Her first effort at recording!’
