Portrait of John Hopkinson FRS, (1849-1898), President of the IEE in 1890 and 1896, by Reginald Henry Campbell (born 1879). Three-quarter length seated. Signed, oil on canvas, 57 inches x 41 inches.
Painting commissioned by Sir Thomas Octavius Callender, but then donated immediately to the IEE. Callender owned the copyright, which he formally assigned to the IEE, 20 July 1931 [note: assignment contract in legal contracts series - reference Pub 13:28].
