Scope and Content
Watercolour painting by Geoffrey Fletcher, used as the frontispiece in W Reader's History of the IEE (published 1987). The painter's full name is Geoffrey Scowcroft Fletcher (1923-2004), the British artist and art critic whose drawings appeared in British newspapers. He also worked for the Daily Telegraph, writing and illustrating a column from 1962 to 1990.
