Certificate awarding the IEEE centennial medal to the IEE 'for extraordinary achievement'. Signed by the IEEE President, Dr Richard J Gowan.
The Centennial Medal was awarded by the IEEE in 1984 to 'persons deserving of special recognition for extraordinary achievement' to celebrate the centenary of the founding of the American Institute in 1884. There were 1984 medals minted, the same as the year of the centenary.
