Letter [to Jacob Brett], written on behalf of the Earl of Clarendon, Lord Lieutenant of Ireland. The Lord Lieutenant expresses his pleasure at the planned cable to Ireland, but informs Brett that he is unable to grant him an exclusive privilege to the work. He suggests that Brett contact the Admiralty or the Home Office.
