The CBA continued its lobbying activities after the legalisation of CB radio, espeically concerning allocated frequences, CB use not covered by legalisation and planning permission. Includes information on the following: ban on the import of 27 MHz transmitters into the UK; use of VHF frequencies; evidence submitted by the CBA to the Independent Review of the Radio Spectrum; dissent between the CBA and Natcolcibar (National Committee for the Legalisation of Citizens Band Radio); issue of CB licences; CB aerials; benefits of short-range radio for developing countries; efforts to have James Bryant nominated for an OBE; complaints about CB misuse; changes to planning permission regulations; the use of 'roger beeps' in CB transmissions.
