Scope and Content
Drawing No. 15057, pencil and watercolour drawing of 3 tier pendant light with details of arrangement of the 87 lights and the finish on the metallic parts of the light. Scale: 1/4 full size. Dernier & Hamlyn for Lucas & Pyke, Consulting Engineers. Annotated on reverse by Mr Spry 'The drawing is an artist's impression of fitting designed by Mr Spry. The actual chandelier is about 1/4 larger and there are no gold ornaments on the twisted suspension tube. (about 130 lights). The work was carried out in 1981[sic] [1931]'.
