Met Morrison from Leeds who much admired his father's speech on becoming mayor, and preserved it to show their own mayors how to perform that duty. J J Thomson has got the Cambridge chair, over Schuster. Disappointed for Schuster but sure that J J Thomson will make a great success of it.
