Als sending more papers and explaining why his family never tried to do more with Davy's patent for the telegraph even though he was undoubtedly ahead of Cooke and Wheatstone and the first inventor of the telegraph. He thinks his patent was sold to Morse for £800 or £1000, but is not sure of the purchaser, with some comments on Davy's later career in Australia.
