Cariacatures W H Preece, R S Culley, W E Baines, F I Scudamore, A V Tubb and H C Fischer, with Charles Wheatstone portrayed as his own automatic telegraph. With donor's notes identifying the occasion as "the Wheatstone telegraph replaces double-needle telegraphs for Press messages 1871."
