Autograph letter dated from Holland House, New York, saying that he spent two days visiting the latest things electrical in the neighbourhood, and then was a guest of Mr Wilgus of the New York Central Railroad Company at a dinner at which 12 Presidents or Vice-presidents were there to meet Merz. He praises the hospitality of the Americans and outlines his itinerary which is to go to Schenectady for two days and then return to New York before heading West to Chicago.
