Autograph letter dated from D6 The Albany, Piccadilly in reply to a letter from his mother, mentioning pieces in the Westminster Gazette about the Russian Revolution and reports of British gold being supplied to the strikers and a fund being started for the strikers. Merz says 'one almost hopes that the Revolution will proceed'. His knee is now practically recovered.
