TS copy of letter to W H Preece from Marconi. Written in Poole, Dorset. Refers to a demonstration, requested by Preece, of Marconi's wireless installation between South Foreland and Boulogne. Marconi will not be able to be present, but one of his assistants can show Preece the apparatus. He informs Preece that he is busy on projects resulting from his demonstration to the French Navy and experiments on tuning. He also mentions the recent use of wireless telegraphy in preventing a collision between the East Goodwin Light Vessel and a steamer.
