Refers to the continuation of Marconi's own experiments after his exclusion from the Post Office's experiments in Dover. He informs Preece that he will continue in Salisbury with a new assistant, Mr Bradfield, two Royal Engineers sappers, Captain Baden Powell and Captain Kennedy. Marconi is uncertain about the equipment being used at Dover. If the Post Office does not wish to work with Marconi and his company, he will travel to Russia, Austria and elsewhere to promote his equipment. He also mentions new developments in his apparatus, which is now smaller and lighter.
