Dorothy Frances Edith Wilding (1893-1976) was a noted English society photographer from Gloucester. [Note: a digital copy of this photograph has been made for archival preservation purposes, but cannot be supplied externally until copyright expires in 2046 (life + 70 years). The National Portrait Gallery (NPG) owns the copyright in Dorothy Wilding's works NOT taken in the UK (mainly post-1938 works). For Wilding's UK works the NPG acts as the agent for the Wilding Estate and the NPG's Rights and Images Department should be contacted to apply for a licence to use these images]
