Als in answer to Hawkins, pointing out that his finding is not new and that Schonbein had already found that the iron in the peculiar state was still a conductor and pointing out a printed reference in the Philosphical Magazine. He points out that he is plain Mr Faraday and will remain so. Dated at Royal Institution, addressed to Mr Hawkins, Chemist, Kings Road, Brighton with note of addresses of Mr Hilyard, 91 Kings Road, and Mr Paul 38 Bedford Square.
