The Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) and its predecessor the IEE represents the views of its members on a wide range of professional and technological issues. Around 30 submissions are made each year to UK Government, UK Devolved Administrations, Parliamentary Committees, other agencies and the European Commission. Copies of these submissions from 1982 to 2011 (numbers 1 to 923) are held in IET/DEP/16/1.
