Inspec is the leading English-language bibliographic information service providing access to the world's scientific and technical literature in physics, electrical engineering, electronics, communications, control engineering, computers and computing, information technology, production, manufacturing and mechanical engineering. Inspec was formed in 1967, based on the Science Abstracts service which had been provided by the Institution of Electrical Engineers since 1898.
