Scope and Content
Papers relating to Lord Caldecote's political and religious activities. Lord Caldecote was an active Christian and member of the Conservative party. Many of his political activities were informed by his religious views, as well as his experience in industry. He was involved in a number of religious charities and organisations and was also active in parish life.
Lord Caldecote sat on the Conservative benches in the House of Lords from 1947.
