Manuscript notes, draft reports and copy correspondence relating to Ronalds' time at the British Association's meteorolgical observatory at Kew. Many of the notes and drawings are very rough and few are dated. In addition tio the Kew papers there is also a foolscap notebook with several loose insertions containing notes, drawings etc relating to a system devised by Ronalds for propelling or towing vessels in water by means of a stationary fulcrum. These are all undated although from the material itr does appear that they were made in or after 1838.
