This diary has been completely transcribed in the book, 'a scientist's war: the war diary of Sir Clifford Paterson 1939-45', edited by Robert Clayton and Joan Algar (volume 14 in the IEE's history of technology series). The book includes images of all items inserted into the diary, footnotes, an index of names, an index of subjects and a list of abbreviations used in the diary.
