Photograph album showing views of exhibits at Exhibition, with captions to identify individual plates. 47 pictures. There is also a letter from the donor of the album, John Aylmer, STEE Member, attached in the front of the album. The letter on Aylmer's headed paper (J Aylmer, Ingenieur Civil, Rue de Naples 4, Paris), says; "To Mr F H Webb Esq, Secretary of the Society of Telegraph Engineers & Electricians, London, 7 February 1882, My dear sir, I have sent you by passenger train a box containing a portfolio holding a complete set of photographic views of the late electrical exhibition held in Paris, and shall feel obliged if you will present them on my behalf to the Council and Society of Telegraph Engineers & Electricians. I remain, my dear sir, yours very faithfully, J Aylmer."
