    Description of further improvements and inventions including: a) an improved screen telegraph, b) the employment of 5 galvanic batteries at once c) a mode of determining signals exclusively to any required station d) a screen telegraph requiring only 3 line wires e) a system requiring only 2 line wires f) a self-regulating galvanic battery g) a recording telegraph h) a new galvanic battery i) protection of the copper conducting wires from rust and corrosion j) mode of making contacts These descriptions appear to have been made to answer any criticism or opposition to Davy's system, e.g. perhaps at the meeting with the Solicitor General to assess his system against Cooke and Wheatstone's system, as a note under the heading 'An improved magneto-electric machine' reads 'To be described if there be any opposition on this head'.
