Although appendix 8 of 'The History of the Institution of Electrical Engineers 1871-1971' has the East Anglian Sub-Centre being formed in 1965 as a spin-off from the East Midland Centre, it is clear from these minutes that the inaugural meeting of the East Anglian Sub-Centre took place 5 April 1955.
