Written on SS Suffolk off Batabano. Not received any of his letters since 15th June. Troubles with the cable laying, held up by bad weather and another fault on the shore end which he thinks is showing up because of the hotter weather. Sorted out now and moving on to lay in deeper water round to Santiago.
